Artist Statement
My name is Jacob Hall, and I am from Houston, Texas. I am currently studying Graphic Design at Houston Christian University in Houston, Texas. From an early age I had a love for design and photography. My love for art grew during my high school years when I was a member of my school's National Art Honor Society. As a designer, my goal is to share my passion for the outdoors and inspire others with my artwork. The art that I design represents who I am and what I like to do. I also have a love for photography which helps me capture and express the passion I have for adventure in the outdoors. The goal in my photography is to reveal God’s intelligence and beauty in His creation. While capturing God’s creation through photography I am able to feel his presence, worship Him, and I feel closer to Him while being in the heart of his creation. Photography helps me express my love for adventure, being able to capture those memories and share them with my family and others. My mission is that through my photography and graphic design I will be able to inspire others who are interested in adventure and enjoying God’s beautiful design. Through my graphic design I get to show others my love for classic cars, historic events, photomontage, and other personal projects. One of my favorite classic car brands is Lada because it is just honestly “perfect from the beginning.” The Titanic is a historical event that I have always found interesting. Through my photomontage I have created several different projects. One that stands out to me is my time travel project. Some of my top personal projects consist of Texan Banknotes which display my love for the great Texan culture and my personal milk assembly line called Jake’s Muscle Milk which is aimed at people who are interested in fitness and weightlifting.
Thank you!
